Research Interest

-International energy politics and political/economic problems of resource-rich countries.

 

Center for Energy Governance & Security (EGS)

- Founded in 2012 with a grant support from the Korean Ministry of Education.

- Located at Hanyang University¡¯s Seoul Campus

- Mission: Conducting research on various energy issues by bringing together groups of energy experts from major countries in the Asia-Pacific (USA, China, Japan, Singapore, and Australia etc.) with an interest and a capability to engage in the Asia-Pacific region. 

-Research Focus: To better understand the notion of ¡°global energy governance and energy security¡± and the role of Asia

-Briefings, publications, conferences, newspaper op-eds, collaborating with leading institutions worldwide including National Bureau of Asia Research (NBR), the University of Sussex, SPRU (Science Policy Research Unit), and the University of Queensland, Sustainable Minerals Institute.
